The Spring & Summer 2000 Tokyo Collection of Nakagawa's brand 20471120 was presented under the theme of "Recycling". Nakagawa collected some old clothes full of memories from fashion journalists and some people in art industry and recycled their clothes and then presented them as the brand's new collection. For the purpose of making those people remember their first time to come to live in Tokyo, Nakagawa made a story of HYŌMA and presented his recycle project. The story is about HYŌMA starting to live in Tokyo. He remembers his mother and sends her some money. His mother then sends him back some old clothes full of memories. And then HYŌMA remakes those clothes for his mother using his magic creation "NUKEGARA-kun". This project gives you the opportunity to re-consider a life in a city and its mass consumer society.
